Maintenance regulations

Welding machines that are not maintained, or are not professionally maintained, can cause serious
accidents. It is essential to observe the maintenance intervals and maintenance work outlined below.

Incorrect cleaning can lead to death or
serious injuries.
▶ Disconnect the power supply before
carrying out cleaning.
▶ Make sure that all surfaces have dried
completely before reconnecting the
power supply.
ATTENTION
Damage to the device from moisture
▶ Never immerse the welding machine and its
additional devices in water or other liquids.

Use compressed air or a brush to remove
dirt.
CAUTION
Harmful substances
▶ Observe the safety notes of the lubricant
used.

Lubricate the welding machine and its
individual moving parts with BRUNOX®
Turbo-Spray® or an equivalent lubricant.

Wipe off any excess lubricant.

Maintenance work
• Carry out a visual inspection to check the welding machine and any
additional devices for externally visible defects and damage that
could affect safety. Do not put the welding machine or additional
devices into operation if they are damaged.
• Carry out a visual inspection to check the mains cables of additional
devices for externally visible defects and damage that could affect
safety. Have an electrically skilled person replace the damaged mains
cable or hand over to an authorised repair shop for repair.
• If the welding machine is soiled, clean it with a damp cloth.
