    1. Verwendung & Abmessungen Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für den Kauf des elektrischen Heizstrahlers HEATSCOPE® ZERO entschieden haben. Der sog. Dunkelheizstrahler auf Infrarotbasis zeichnet sich durch eine fokussierte Wärmeverteilung aus, die die Wärme dorthin transportiert, wo sie benötigt wird.

    6. Nach VDE 0100, Teil 701 darf der Heizstrahler nur im Bereich 3 in Installationsräumen mit hoher Feuchtigkeit (Bad, Spa, Pool etc.) montiert werden. Wenn der HEATSCOPE® ZERO in einem solchen Umfeld mit hoher Feuchtigkeit montiert wird, müssen die Schalter oder anderen Bediengeräte so angebracht werden, dass sie nicht von Personen, die sich im direkten Kontakt mit Wasser befinden, berührt werden können.

    Nach erfolgreicher Installation / Montage können Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen. Der HEATSCOPE® ZERO besitzt eine LED, die in der Abdeckplatte zwischen Heizprofil und Oberschale integriert ist. Sobald der HEATSCOPE® ZERO mit Strom versorgt wird, leuchtet diese LED auf und signalisiert, dass das Gerät sich im Betriebsmodus befindet.

    Letztere sind in jedem Fall einzuhalten. Die dargestellten Montageflächen müssen mindestens der Brand schutzklasse A2 entsprechen. Bitte beachten Sie: Der HEATSCOPE® ZERO erfüllt bei der Deckenmontage die IP­Schutzklasse 4 (IP­X4), bei der Wandmontage die IP­Schutzklasse 0 (IP­X0). Vorgeschriebene Abstände zu brennbaren Montageflächen: mind.

Reinigung und Wartung Es ist wichtig, dass der HEATSCOPE® ZERO, sofern er im geschützten Außenbereich angebracht wird, regel mäßig ge reinigt wird, um eine möglichst langlebige und effiziente Funktionsweise zu gewährleisten. Die Aluminiumbauweise des HEATSCOPE® ZERO in Verbindung mit der eloxierten Oberfläche schützt den Heiz- strahler auch in Küstennähe.

    Die Konformitätserklärung erhalten Sie auf Wunsch gerne direkt bei uns. Kontakt siehe Rückseite. 11. Garantie & Gewährleistung Der HEATSCOPE® ZERO hat eine Garantie von 24 Monaten. Die Garantiezeit beginnt am Tag, an dem das Neu­Gerät erworben wurde. Verschleißartikel oder Mängel, die die Gebrauchstauglichkeit des Gerätes nur uner- heblich beeinflussen, sind von der Garantie ausgeschlossen.

You have purchased one of the most advanced heating systems for indoor and covered outdoor areas. The infrared radiant heater without red light is characterized by a focused distribution of heat, which transports the heat to where it is needed.

    1. The HEATSCOPE® ZERO must be fitted with an all­pole ON/OFF switch (not included in scope of delivery). You can likewise operate the radiant heater using a radio receiver and a remote control, which are available as optional accessories.

Installation instructions The different options for installing the HEATSCOPE® ZERO are shown in the diagrams at the end of this manual.     8. Cleaning and maintenance It is important that the HEATSCOPE® ZERO is cleaned regularly when installed in outdoor locations, in order to ensure a long and efficient operating life. The aluminum construction of the HEATSCOPE® ZERO together with the anodized surface helps to preserve the heater even in coastal locations.

    A conformity declaration is available upon request directly from us. Contact information at the back. 12. Guarantee and warranty The HEATSCOPE® ZERO is guaranteed for 24 months. The warranty period begins on the date on which the new unit is purchased. Consumables or defects that affect the usability of the unit only slightly are excluded from the warranty.
