11. Troubleshooting

The device no longer responds to button commands, it has "crashed".
• Press and hold down the
on, it should work normally again.
You are having problems logging in the Internet radio with your Wi-Fi network.
• Check whether another device (e.g. a computer or tablet) can be connected to the Internet via the Wi-Fi network.
• The range of your Wi-Fi network may have been exceeded. Try moving the Internet radio closer to your Wi-Fi router.
• Check whether the DHCP server is running in your router or whether you have correctly configured the static IP
address and all settings (subnet mask, standard gateway) in the Internet radio.
• Check whether your firewall is blocking the outgoing ports.
• Some access points are configured to deny access to devices whose MAC address is not registered on the access
point's configuration page. Refer to the instruction manual of your router or access point for details.
You can find the MAC address in the menu as follows:
"SETTINGS" > "INFO" > "NETWORK INFORMATION" > "Wi-Fi MAC" or via the INFO button (32)
• Check that you have entered the correct Wi-Fi password. The password is case-sensitive.
You want to use the Media centre function, but the radio cannot find a device in the network.
• Check that the radio is connected to your Wi-Fi. In addition, the radio and the server must be connected to the
same network.
• Your server has an active firewall, which may block access to the shared or public folders. Refer to your firewall
instructions for more information.
The computer from which you want to play music is listed, but you cannot access any folders.
• If a firewall is running on the computer or server, check whether it is blocking access to the folders. You can briefly
deactivate the firewall for a quick test.
You cannot share folders because the feature is not displayed.
• Enable file sharing in your system.
