c) Batteries/rechargeable batteries
General information
• Dispose of used batteries/rechargeable batteries as described in the "Disposal" chapter.
• Never throw rechargeable batteries/batteries into fire. This may cause a fire or explosion!
• When handling leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries, always use suitable protective
gloves to avoid burning your skin.
• Liquids leaking from batteries/rechargeable batteries are chemically highly aggressive. Objects or
surfaces coming into contact with these liquids could be severely damaged.
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into open flames.
Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion.
Built-in device battery
• The built-in rechargeable battery cannot be removed and can only be charged in the device. Never
attempt to remove the battery and charge it with an external charger.
• Charge the built-in battery in the device on a regular basis, even if the device is not used (about every
3 months). Failure to charge the battery regularly may cause the battery to deeply discharge, which can
cause permanent damage.
Remote control batteries
• Pay attention to the correct polarity when inserting batteries in the remote control.
• Remove the batteries from the remote control if you will not be using it for a long time to avoid damage
due to battery leakage.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as there is a risk that
children or pets swallow them.
• Replace all the batteries at the same time. Do not insert old and new batteries together into the remote
control to prevent battery leakage and damage to the remote control.
