Switching on and off

Switching states
On Display lights up brightly and shows the activated function
Off Display is dark
Standby Display is dimmed and shows the time
Operation
• Switching on from standby mode:
Press button (3) on the device or button (24) on the remote control briefly
• Switching on from the off mode:
Press button (3) on the device for a long time (2-3 seconds until the display appears)
Button (24) on the remote control has no function in Off mode
• Switch off to standby mode:
Press button (3) on the device or button (24) on the remote control briefly
• Switch off to the off mode:
Press button (3) on the device or button (24) on the remote control for a long time (2-3 seconds until the display
goes out)
When the device is switched off, it does not respond to commands from the remote control. The device
responds to commands from the remote control only in standby mode or when switched on.
Standby mode is available only if the power adapter is connected.
The alarm function works only in standby mode (i.e. only when the power adapter is connected).

General operation

• Turn the rotary knob (7) to set the volume and use the menu to select functions or change settings/values.
• Press the rotary knob (7) like a regular button to confirm a selection or setting.
• Use the (27) and
the sound.
• You can navigate in the menu using the arrow buttons (16) or the rotary knob (7) on the remote control.
• Press the button (4) to navigate to the previous setting or function.
• Press the button (6) to navigate to the next setting or function.
• Use the MODE button (19) to switch through the various modes. Each time you press this button, the device
switches to the next mode.
• The button (5 or 20) opens the main menu of the Internet radio.
