Applications
The heater fan can be moved and is intended for heating premises. It has a ceramic PTC heater element
that is self-limiting and cannot become over-heated. The heater fan is also equipped with a temperature
limiting device with automatic reset. The heater fan is approved for use in dry and damp rooms and its
protection class is IP 21 (equivalent to drop protected).
The heater fan has been tested for electrical safety (in accordance with low voltage directive LVD), it is EMC
tested by SEMKO (Swedish Institute for testing and certifi cation of electrical equipment), and is CE marked.
Applications: Houses, garages, summer cottages, caravans, caravan tents, offi ces, balconies (if heater is
protected against rain), etc.
Do not use heater in locations with a lot of dust as this may pose a risk of a short circuit in the heating
element.
Safety
• Do not use the heater in the immediate vicinity of showers,
bathtubs, or swimming pools.
• The heater must not be located directly underneath a fi xed wall
socket.
• Place the heater on a stable fl oor.
• The heater must not be covered as this can create a fi re hazard
(see picture A).
• Position the heater so that combustible materials cannot be ignited.
• Some of the external surfaces of the heater become hot during
operation. Bare parts of the body should not exposed to the hot
air outlet.
• Never stick foreign objects into the heater's air inlet or outlet.
There is a big risk of coming in contact with live electrical parts.
• Be extra careful when there are children in the vicinity of the heater.
• If the heater is used outdoors, it must be protected against rain.
• Always pull the plug out of the wall socket when the heater is not in use.
Function
The heater fan is equipped with a heating power selector and a thermostat.
The power selector has three positions: 0 - off. 1000W - fan + half heater power. 2000W - fan + full heater
power.
Thermostat working range: +5°C to +40°C. The thermostat starts the fan + the selected heater power, when
heating is needed. If the temperature inside the heater fan should become too high for any reason, the
automatic temperature limiting device will be activated.
Service
Clean the outside of the heater fan at regular intervals, since accumulations of dust and dirt may cause a fi re.
Repairs
The following work should be done by the manufacturer, service company or some other equally qualifi ed
person:
Changing the power supply cable.
Cleaning of the PTC element with compressed air.
If heavily soiled, remove the upper bend. Changing the built-in type T 10A H 250 V fuse (1500 A breaking
capacity at 250 V AC).
