This appliance should only be connected up by a registered installer!
The gas and electrical connection must comply with national and local
regulations.
Warning!
The type of gas and the country for which the appliance has been
designed are indicated on the appliance identification card.
This is a category-3 appliance.
• We recommend that the hob be connected by means of a fixed pipe.
Connection using a specially designed safety hose is also permitted.
• A pipe made entirely out of metal must be used behind an oven.
Warning!
• A safety hose may not be bent and must not come into contact
with kitchen unit moving parts.
• In all cases a shut-off valve needs to be fitted for the appliance so
that it is easily accessible.
Before using the appliance for the first time, check the connections
using a soap-and-water solution to ensure that there are no gas leaks.

• The mains socket and plug must be accessible at all times.
• Make sure that the electrical lead is not allowed to come into
contact with the any parts of the appliance that become hot.
• If you want to make a fixed connection, make sure that a multi-
pole switch with a minimum distance between contacts of 3 mm is
installed in the supply cable.
• Do not use an adapter or an extension lead to connect the
appliance to the mains electricity supply. Safe use of the appliance
cannot be guaranteed with these accessories.
