Changing the door hinges

CAUTION
Risk of injury!
The appliance door is heavy.
■ Ask another person, if needed, to help
you with attaching or removing the
appliance door.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the appliance
may result in damage.
■ Do not tilt the appliance more than
45°.
■ Do not lay it on its side.
Depending on the space conditions, you can
change the direction of the door hinges on
your appliance. This work requires some
manual dexterity. Please read the following
steps completely before changing the hinges.
You will need the following tools to change
the door hinges:
– Medium size cross-tip screwdriver
– Medium size flat-headed screwdriver

Removing the appliance door

1. Ensure that the appliance is not connect-
ed to the power supply.
2. Open the door and use a crosshead
screwdriver to remove the screws (13).
Ask another person to hold the appliance
door (2) while you do this!
3. Remove the appliance door (2) and set it
aside carefully.

4. Use a flat-tip screwdriver or a knife to re-
move the blind plugs (14) from the side of
the frame.
