Electric connections and safety

The installer is responsible for choosing wires with characteristics
and nominal section that are suitable for the specific current input
of the hot tub (see pre-installation instructions).
The cable path, choice of materials and most suitable installa-
tion solutions are left to the professional knowledge and experience
of the installer; it is his responsibility to guarantee and certify the
installation.
Connect to the terminal block as indicated in the following
wiring diagrams (
5).
IMPORTANT: for Countries where 220-240V voltage is
supplied by a two-phase system (L+L), the connection
has to be made on terminals L1 and N anyway.
NOTE: If the electrical system that powers the SPA consists of
two (or three) phases (+ neutral, 380-415 V 2-3N ~) before con-
necting, remove the jumper/s located near the terminal board.
Check the arrangement of the switches ("dip-switch"), based
on the spa model and the chosen settings.

dip switch 2 Pump 1 (check that it is in the OFF position).
dip switch 3 Pump 2 (check that it is in the OFF position).
dip switch 4 Blower (OFF = present; ON = absent).
dip switch 5 Filtration pump (OFF = present; ON = absent).
dip switch 6 AUX contact (OFF = heating mode: heater, Jacuzzi®
EcoHeat heat exchanger or heat pump; ON = cool-
ing mode: for Jacuzzi® Cool Power heat pump).
dip switch 7 Flow switch (check that it is in the OFF position).
dip switch 8 Flow detection (verify that it is in OFF position).

to the level sensor (it must be set to OFF).
dip switch 3 Level sensor (check that it is in the OFF position).
dip switch 4 Temperature probe (check that it is in the OFF po-
sition).
- To ensure the degree of protection against water as required by
standards, a cable clamp has been installed to make connection
the electrical system easier.
- When installation is complete, the cable clamp and the cover of

JACUZZI EUROPE S.p.A. denies all responsibility:
If installation is carried out by personnel unqualified and/or unau-
thorised to certify the work carried out.
If current norms and legal provisions regarding the electric systems
of buildings in the country in which installation is carried out are
not complied with.
If the instructions for installation and maintenance contained in
this manual are not followed.
If unsuitable and/or uncertified materials are used for installation.
If the hot tubs are not installed in compliance with the above provisions.
If incorrect operations are performed that reduce the level of protection
of the electrical equipment against water jets, modify the protection
against electrocution due to direct or indirect contact, or produce ab-
normal conditions of insulation, current leakage or overheating.
If any components or parts of the appliance are altered in relation
to the original state when supplied, releasing the Manufacturer
from any liability.
If the appliance is repaired by unauthorised personnel or if spare
parts are used other than the original ones supplied by Jacuzzi Eu-
rope S.p.A.

Limitation of electricity consumption

If you do not have enough electricity and decide to turn the con-
sumption limiter on, you must configure the system software as in-
dicated (refer to the wiring diagrams to identify the type of electrical
box on board the hot tub).
Make sure the spa is disconnected from the power supply line.
Remove the cover of the electrical box and set the switch
("dip-switch") n ° 1 to the OFF position.
In this position, the electrical absorption is limited (refer to the
notes at the end of the chapter for further details).
NOTES
- When dipswitch 1 is set to OFF, the electrical consumption of the
hot tub is limited: in these conditions, when you activate the hydro-
massage pump, the electrical heater switches off).
