Do not start the hot tub if the protective grilles are broken or
missing. In this event, contact an authorized Jacuzzi® dealer
or an authorized service centre to have them replaced.
Prolonged sun exposure could damage the material
of which is made the hot tub shell, due to its capac-
ity to absorb heat (dark colours in particular). Don't
leave the hot tub to sun exposure without adequate
protection when not in use (cover thermal, gazebo,
etc.).

Preliminary checks

The user must appoint a qualified person able to manage and run
the system, in particular as regards the following operations:
VIRTUS PRO
Loading water.
Programming temperature and water heating.
Enabling the controls for the hydromassage element,
heater with filtration, and spotlights.
Checking and adjusting the valves fitted on the pipes con-
necting the hot tub to the spa-pak and balance tank.
VIRTUS / VIRTUS PRO
Checking the efficiency of the filter and the position of the
selector valve, as well as general system operation.
Any damage arising by not follow-
Checking the various parameters for water treatment and
dispensing of additives required to ensure its quality.

and relative catalogue for details on maintaining water quali-
ty and the methods and warnings governing the use of the re-
lated chemical products.
CAUTION: read and follow all the instructions related
to the use and storage of chemical products, adhering
strictly to the manufacturer's instructions on the pack-
aging.
CAUTION! Do not use trichloride tablets. This may
damage the hot tub components and cause burning
or irritation to the skin and mucous membranes. Any
use of these chemicals will void the warranty.
Check that the heat pump is working properly (where
used).
Check for and delete any alarm messages shown on the
display on the hot tub or heat pump (where relevant).
System maintenance.
Unless the user belongs to the category of persons described above,
he/she must confine himself/herself to the operations described
below, avoiding all other operations. Before starting up the system,
he/she must ensure that it is set up to operate correctly and that the
water is at the desired temperature.
In the event of faults or malfunctioning, the user must disconnect
the system via the master switch installed in an accessible
place and then contact a specialist technician.
Jacuzzi Europe S.p.A. shall not be held liable if unauthorised
persons perform tasks assigned exclusively to specialist
technicians.

User safety

If installed by qualified personnel in compliance with the in-
structions in the enclosed installation manual, the system does
not present any risks for the user. However, safety is also contin-
gent upon appropriate use, according to the provisions in the
respective manual, while the user must delegate the operations
described in the installation manual to qualified personnel.
For any extra maintenance and/or repairs, contact an autho-
rised service centre and use only original spare parts.
