Insofar as the operating personnel observe the operating instructions and the work practices described in it as
well as the applicable safety regulations, it can be assumed that during normal operation the vacuum cleaner
does not present a hazard.
When vacuuming up different substances, however, it cannot be ruled out that the substances will react and
cause an unforeseeable chemical reaction.
Do not use the vacuum cleaner in explosive environments.
Only use the vacuum cleaner under supervision. Do not stand or sit on the vacuum cleaner.
This machine is intended for commercial use, for example for use in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, fire
brigade, trades, shops, offices and rental properties.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for damages resulting from misuse, improper use or improper repairs.
Incorrect or improper use will void the warranty.
Any attempt by the user or unauthorised persons to open or modify the device or generally carry out unau-
thorised actions on any part of the device will void the warranty.
The warranty is also void when using spare parts or accessories not supplied by the manufacturer or a specialist
retailer.
Avoiding danger of electric shock
The voltage in the type plate must match the mains voltage. Only plug the vacuum cleaner into a sufficiently
fused socket.
Do not kink, crush or pull the power cable over sharp edges. A damaged power cord must be replaced with the
type specified in the chapter electrical connection.
Do not use the vacuum cleaner or its accessories in the following cases:
– Power supply cable or extension cable are defective or have cracks.
– Vacuum cleaner is not working properly
– Vacuum cleaner is standing in water or became wet
– Vacuum cleaner is visibly damaged, e.g. cracks in the housing.
– If hidden defects are suspected, e.g. after falling.
r Have the vacuum cleaner inspected by customer service before continuing use.
Switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner in the following cases:
– If foam or liquid is leaking out
– Long periods of non-use and after every use
– Before servicing or changing attachments
When unplugging, always grab the power plug, never the power cord. Never touch the power plug with wet
hands.
Never open the vacuum cleaner outdoors in rain or storms. Always keep the inside of the cover dry.
Avoiding hazards during use
Instruct operating personnel on the following prior to use:
– Using the vacuum cleaner
– Hazards of the vacuumed material
– Safe disposal of the vacuumed material
– Potential accident hazards and suitable safety measures
