BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Remove all packaging materials
and any transport safety devices.
2. Clean all parts with a damp
cloth, as described in the chapter
"Cleaning and care".

OPERATION

1. Fill the cup with cold water sub-
ject to the desired hardness and
the number of eggs:
ƒ hard
ƒ medium
ƒ soft
Please use the respective marks
at the cup. Pour the water into
the water tray. The marks apply to
medium egg sizes. Depending on
the size, number and freshness of
the eggs, the results may slightly
differ.
2. Pierce the blunt end of the eggs
with an egg piercer. This is impor-
tant to avoid that the eggs burst
during cooking.
ATTENTION.
Risk of injuries by the egg
piercer!
3. Place the eggs on the egg holder.
Place the egg holder with the eggs
on the water tray and close the lid.
4. Put the plug into the receptacle
and switch on by pushing the ON/
OFF switch. The control light is
turning on.
5. When eggs are ready, the buzzer
sounds.
6. If you want to serve the eggs
immediately, switch off the appli-

3. Connect the base to the mains
supply by means of the lead cable
(230 V~, 50 Hz).
4. Check if the appliance is placed
firmly.

warm, leave the appliance in ON-
position until you finally take out
the eggs.
7. If the appliance is switched
off, the control lamp turns out.
Remove the lid.
Attention:
Take care of escaping hot
steam!
Since the lid is very hot, use
the handle to lift off the lid
or use oven cloths and place
it only on heat-resisting sur-
faces!
8. Remove the egg holder with the
eggs from the water tray and hold
them under cold water. If the boi-
ling process is not stopped imme-
diately after the buzzer signal is
heard, eggs will continue to boil
and become harder. You may now
serve the eggs.
9. After a short cool-down time of
approx. 5 minutes you may use
the egg boiler again.
10. Unplug the appliance after use.
