2-5. Battery Replacement

NOTICE: This UPS is equipped with internal batteries that are user replaceable. The batteries
are hot-swappable battery and can be replaced without shutting down the UPS or connected
loads. Replacement is a safe procedure, isolated from electrical hazards.
CAUTION!! Consider all warnings, cautions, and notes before replacing batteries.
Note: Upon battery disconnection, equipment is not protected from power outages.
Step 1
Remove front panel.
Step 4
Replace the deplete battery
assembly with the new
replacement assembly
Step 7
Replace the front panel.
Step 2
Disconnect battery leads.
Step 5
After replacing the
batteries, put the battery
box back to original location
and screw it tightly.

Pull out the battery box by
removing two screws on the
front panel.
Step 6
Re-connect the battery leads.
