- An nhalat on appl cat on should not exceed 20 m nutes. Do not
leave the compressor on for a long per od of t me. Th s could
result n the compressor overheat ng or malfunct on ng. After use,
wa t at least 40 m nutes for the dev ce to cool down.
- Do not block the vent lat on slots or the a r filter on the com-
pressor.
After term nat ng the nhalat on, sw tch off the dev ce by press ng the ON /

Pour out the rest of the nhalant. Do not use t aga n. Clean the dev ce
nhalat on
mmed ately after each use (also refer to "4.1 Clean ng and ma ntenance").
- A larger amount of aerosol rema ns on the mucosa of the nasal
pharynx when us ng the mask resp. the nose adaptor than when
us ng the mouthp ece.
- Once you have used the mouthp ece for a certa n t me, several
drops of nhalant solut on may gather n the attachment p pe.
However, th s does not affect the operat on and funct on of the
dev ce. W pe off the drops w th a soft cloth after use.
4 M scellaneous
4.1
Follow the below steps for clean ng and d s nfect on before first use, after
each use and f the dev ce has not been used for a long sh per od of t me

1. Make sure that the un t s sw tched off and the power plug s unplugged
from the outlet.

Remove the a r tube
bul zer k t. Empty out any res due n the nebul zer tank. In order to help
reduce water pollut on, do not d spose of the med cat on res due n the
waste water system. W pe t up w th t ssues and d spose of the t ssues
w th non-recyclable waste.

R nse all parts of the nebul zer k t w th warm water (approx. 40°C) and
some detergent. Afterwards r nse all parts w th warm water (approx.
40°C w thout any detergent) aga n. The nebul zer parts now need to be
d s nfected - please refer to the chapter "D s nfect on".

Clean the compressor case w th a soft, damp cloth. Do not use any
aggress ve substances for clean ng, such as scour ng cream or other
detergents, as these may damage the surfaces.
D s nfect on
1. Before d s nfect ng the nebul zer parts, follow the steps under "Clean ng"

To d s nfect, you can use alcohol or other common alcohol-based d s-
nfectant sprays. Make sure that no d s nfectant res dues are left beh nd
on the attachments to ensure safe nhalat on when next used.

Allow all parts to dry thoroughly for about 4 to 5 hours. Add t onally the
nebul zer un t should be ag tated several t mes to remove rema n ng
drops of water.
