General safety notes

G Never use the saw in the vici-
nity of vapors or flammable
liquids
G Only use sharp saw blades.
G Always remove the saw's plug
from the mains socket before
replacing parts or cleaning.
G Protect the power supply cable
from damage. Oils, acids and
other caustic materials can
damage the cable.
G Never carry the saw by the
power supply cable.
G Never remove the plug from
the mains socket by pulling on
the cable.
G Before inserting the plug in the
mains socket, ensure that the
operating switch is not locked.
G Completely unwind the cable if
you use a cable drum. Mini-
mum cross section: 1,5 mm
G Do not overload the saw.
G Sufficiently secure all wor
pieces.
G Keep out of the reach of
children.
G Make sure you have stable
footing on ladders and similar
structures before starting free-
hand cutting.
G Always wear safety goggles.
G The power supply cable must
only be replaced by a qualified
electrician.

Maintenance

G Always keep your saw clean.
G Do not use caustic cleaning
agents to clean the plastic
housing..
G If an excessive amount of
sparks are generated, check
the carbon brushes.
G If a component of your saw is
damaged, use the enclosed
exploded diagram and parts
list to precisely identify the
required replacement part and
request it from our customer
service.
