your new GUTMAN hood before using the appliance for the first time. Please also
read our operating and installation instructions as well as the cleaning recommenda-
tions to ensure that you enjoy many years of service from your appliance.
The installation, in particular for exhaust air operation, may only be carried out or

checked by authorised specialist personnel.
A window contact with DIBt inlet should be used for safe exhaust air operation.

(already mandatory in some federal states) If your extractor hood does not have a
window contact connection, a power supply interrupter must also be installed.
GUTMAN
does not accept any liability for consequential damage to the flue gas

emission discharge which could be caused by room air extraction.
