CARE AND CLEANING

Disconnect the plug from the mains. Before you clean the device, it should be
sufficiently cooled after use. Do not pour the liquid until it has cooled sufficiently
to avoid scalding. Never immerse the device in water as it may be damaged.
Clean the parts with a mild detergent and a little warm water. Before you use the parts again, please
dry them off sufficiently. Do not use scouring pads and sponges or aggressive fluids such as benzine
or acetone to clean the device.
Cleaning
1. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
2. Never immerse the unit in the water or other liquid
3. Wash the cooking bowl, lid, condensation catcher, serving scoop and rice measure in warm,
soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads- they may scratch the nonstick
surface or could result in poor contact with the heating plate.
4. After it has thoroughly cooled, clean the unit by wiping the inside and outside surfaces with a
damp soapy cloth and dry thoroughly.
5. If water accidenttaly gets into the swich area or onto the heating plate, allow to dry thoroughly
before using the rice cooker.
Non-stick Coating Inner Pot
6. Use a sponge to clean the inner pot.
7. Use a plastic or wooden rice scoop, not metal utensils that may damage the surface of the
inner pot.
8. The non-stick coating may discolor after long usage. This will not affect the non-stick coating or
cleanliness of the inner pot.
