DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTION OF THE PARTS
INNER POT
The inner pot is made of SUS304 18/8 stainless
steel and has a capacity of 1.4 liters or 7
measuring cups of uncooked rice. The stainless
steel contains 8% nickel. The material contains no
BPA, phthalates or lead.
Please rub the pot with a cooking oil before using
it for the first time, e.g. Coconut oil, or olive oil.
We also recommend only a mild detergent and a
soft cloth for cleaning. Cleaning in the dishwasher
is possible. However, the aggressive cleaning
salts can permanently discolor the surface of the
stainless steel pot. Use only the included bamboo
spoon or a wooden spoon to take the rice out of
the pot.
GLAS LID
The glass lid is made of tempered glass. The glass
lid is dishwasher safe. It has a wide plastic handle
and a stainless steel ring. The steam outlet is
located on the glass lid. With starchy rice, liquid can
spurt out of the steam outlet. Please take care not
to cover the steam outlet.
STEAM TRAY
The steamer insert is made of stainless steel and
has a capacity of 1.4 liters. The stainless steel
contains approx. 8% nickel. The material contains
no BPA, phthalates or lead.
The extra large steam holes allow optimal steam
distribution. There are plastic handles on both sides
for safe removal after the steaming process. The
steaming insert is dishwasher safe. Only use
steaming with the glass lid.
