In the case of wheel-mounted units, equipment is connected by means of the plug located under the instrument panel: simply plug it
into a portable socket-outlet connected to the room's power mains. In the case of units on feet, equipment is connected by connecting
a cable to the terminal board located under the unit's instrument panel (on the right, on the inside wall).
The cable must have the features of type H05 RNF or better, and must feature an efficient earth wire of an appropriate size for the total
power of this unit and any other units or accessories connected on the same terminal board (see rating plate).
The unit's electrical supply system must feature an appropriately sized automatic omnipolar circuit breaker upstream that assures a
gap between the contacts of at least 3mm. There must not be any breaks in the earth cable.
The electrical safety of this equipment is only assured when the above-mentioned conditions are met and if the system's equipotential
situation is also in order (use the connection screw located near the power cable entry and the label featuring the symbol)
The manufacturer declines all responsibility in the event these safety standards are not complied with.

7. OPERATION / USE

7.1 Operating tips
Avoid placing hot foods or evaporating liquids inside the unit.
Cover or wrap foods to be kept inside.
Only keep the doors open for as long as it takes to put the food inside or take it out.
Leave the space around the exchangers clear to enable sufficient circulation of the air.
Before using the equipment for the first time, clean it inside with lukewarm water and neutral soap. Avoid using abrasive detergents
or scouring powders. Lastly, rinse and dry thoroughly.
7.2 Starting up
Turn on the circuit breaker located upstream from the equipment.
Press master switch C and switch D (where fitted) on the control panel (Fig. 1). The light incorporated into the panel lights to
indicate the equipment is powered.
If the temperature in the refrigerated unit is higher than the thermostat value, the compressor starts working and the thermostat's
LED "4" comes on.
7.3 Digital thermostat
USE
The instrument normally displays the temperature detected by the sensor located in the refrigerated compartment (showcase
basin/shelf, compartment).
Press the set key to view the current setpoint value (chosen temperature value): the LED 4 flashes.
In order to edit the setpoint value, press the set and ▲ or ▼ keys. Once the value has been changed, release the set key last.
The setpoint can be given any of the values within the established temperature range (see table A).
DEFROSTING can be activated at any time by pressing the ▲ key for at least 4 seconds. Automatic defrosting starts from this
moment after the defrosting interval, factory set at 6 hours and lasts 15 minutes for the refrigerated units, factory set at 4 hours and
lasts 15 minutes for the showcase.
WARNINGS AND ALARMS
When the LED 4 is lit, it means that the compressor output is on. A flashing LED indicates that a defrosting cycle is in progress.
'E0' flashes on the display (cooler sensor error) to indicate one of the following errors: the cooler sensor is not of the right type; the
cooler sensor is faulty; defect in the connection or temperature outside the range allowed by the cooler sensor in use. Check the cooler
sensor is in proper working order and that the instrument-cooler sensor connection is correct.
'E2' flashes on the display (data storage error) to indicate an error in the stored configuration data: try cutting the power off to the
instrument; if the alarm persists once the instrument is switched back on, the regulator must be replaced (the output is off) by qualified
personnel.
The editing of the thermostat's CONFIGURATION PARAMETERS, which are factory set, must be performed by qualified personnel
only according to the instructions attached.
7.4 Partial switch-off
The units with a refrigerated cabinet feature an option whereby pressing switch D on the control panel (Fig. 1) disables the cooling of
the shelf/basin and showcase during the night or when not in use, just leaving the backup cabinet on.
7.5 Total switch-off
When the unit is to be mothballed for a lengthy period, the following measures must be taken:
Switch off the unit with the master switch.
Disconnect the power supply upstream.
Remove all the food from the cooler and basin and clean the inside as well as all the accessories.
Leave the doors ajar so that fresh air can get inside, preventing undesirable smells from forming.
Protect the stainless steel surfaces by smearing them with Vaseline oil: use a cloth soaked in the oil and rub vigorously.
Air the room periodically
