17.9 Display backlight
It is possible to set the display brightness both for operation and standby.
Press the MENU button and then select [Main Menu > System Settings >

Backlight].
If you are in a submenu, select the main menu as described in Section 7.1.

Select [Operation] or [Standby] to apply the setting for operating mode or
standby mode.

You can now set the brightness in three steps from High to Medium to Low
and Off (only in standby mode).
Confirm the selection with OK.

18 Charging function for external devices
The DIGITRADIO 601/631 has a wired and wireless (to Qi standard) charging function
for external devices such as mobile phones or smartphones.
Warning: Do not use both variants at the same time. This can cause damage
to your devices.
18.1 Wired charging of external devices
Use the original charging cable (USB) for your external device and insert the USB
plug into the USB port (1) on the front of the DIGITRADIO 601/631. The external
device can be charged at a maximum of 5 V and 1 A.
18.2 Wireless charging of external devices
If your external device has a wireless charging function (wireless charging to Qi
standard), you can place it on the charging mat on the top of the DIGITRADIO
601/631. The display of your external device must be facing upwards when doing
so. If correctly orientated, the charging process will begin automatically. Please refer
