This instrument features a universal power supply. Either ac or dc voltage may be
applied to the same terminals.
The equipment must be protected by a 15 A fuse or circuit breaker in the building
installation.
The circuit breaker or switch in the building installation, marked as the disconnect
switch, shall be in close proximity to the equipment and within easy reach of the
operator.

The SITRANS LR 300 is to be used only in the manner outlined in this manual, otherwise
protection provided by the equipment may be impaired.
Installation shall only be performed by qualified personnel and in accordance with local
governing regulations.
This product is susceptible to electrostatic shock. Follow proper grounding procedures.
Do not use a Ground Fault Interrupt (G.F.I.) with the SITRANS LR 300. The ground path is
used for filtering purposes in conjunction with the universal power supply.
The use of Teflon tape or other appropriate sealant may be used to aid in sealing tapered
threaded connections for use in pressure applications.
