7 – DISMANTLING AND DISPOSAL OF THE COMPONENTS

7.1 General

At the end of its working life, the product has to be dismantled.
Its components shall be separated in order to dispose of them according to the materials they are made of (batteries, metal,
plastics, etc) and in compliance with the regulations of the country where the product was used.

7.2 Information to the end users

In compliance with the 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE and 2003/108/CE Directives about the reduction of dangerous substances in
the production of electric and electronic equipment, as well as about the waste disposal, the following procedures have to be
carried out:
The symbol of the crossed dustbin on the equipment means that it has to be collected, at the end of its working life,
separately from the other waste. Therefore, the end user will have to take it to a separate collection area for electric and
electro-technical waste or to give it back to the dealer when buying a new product of equivalent kind, in ratio one to one. The
adequate separate collection and the following processing and eco-friendly disposal avoids negative effects on the health and
the environment and to recycle the materials the products are made of. Any unauthorized disposal, personally carried out by
the end user, would cause the application of sanctions, according to the local Laws
It is strictly forbidden to pollute the sewers or the ground with waste oil and solvents.
Lubricant and solvent residues or any other polluting liquid have to be collected and taken to an authorized collection centre.
For environmental conservation reasons it is not allowed to dispose of the whole product, the battery, the engine oil, etc.
together with the other waste.
Follow the local regulations or contact a dealer being authorized to carry out the waste disposal procedures.
