OPERATION

Switching on and selecting power
The four cooking zones on the glass work surface are indicated with
circles. The diameter of the pan bottom must be as similar to the
diameter of the cooking zone as possible. A symbol next to the control
panel indicates which cooking zone is being operated.
Switching on
1. Place a pan on a cooking zone.
2. Press the On/Off button.
You will hear a single beep and a '0' will appear in the display next
to each cooking zone. The decimal point of the '0' will flash.
3. Press the button of the cooking zone you want to switch on to
activate the cooking zone.
The power levels of the cooking zones that are not activated will be
dimmed in the display and the decimal points will disappear.
4. Press the - or + button to set the desired power level.
▷ The cooking zones have 9 available heat settings. Consult the
overview of cooking settings to choose the correct mode.
▷ For three zones there is also the 'boost' setting (see 'Switching
on boost').
▷ When you select the – button directly, the cooking zone will
switch on at power level 9.
The set power level appears in the display. After a few seconds,
all power levels will be brightly lit again and the cooking zone will
switch on.
5. If you want to switch on a cooking zone, press the button of the
cooking zone you want to switch on to activate it.
The power levels of the cooking zones that are not activated will be
dimmed in the display. The power levels of the activated zones will
also dim.
6. Set the desired power level using the – or + button.
The set power level appears in the display. After a few seconds,
all power levels will be brightly lit again and the cooking zone will
switch on.
