8. Energy saving mode

This appliance was designed in compliance with the European Directives
EC1275/2008 and 2009/125/EC, stating the need to adopt the energy
saving mode.
This appliance is equipped with a stand-by function that activates after 10
minutes of downtime; the appliance goes off and the power consumption
in this status is below 0.5 W.
To re-start the machine press again the ON/OFF button (1). The machine
starts the pre-heating phase of the heater (blinking red LED) and, once
having reached the operating temperature, the ready status is shown
(steady green LED).
TIME OF PRE-HEATING IS BASED ON THE DOWNTIME OF THE MACHINE,
AND CAN LAST UP TO 50 SECONDS IF THE PRODUCT HAS NOT BEEN
USED FOR A FEW HOURS.
THE MACHINE WILL ENTER STAND-BY MODE AUTOMATICALLY AFTER 10
MINUTES EVEN IF NO COFFEE IS BREWED.
