11- CERTIFICATE OF WARRANTY

Pursuant to art. 1490 of the Italian Civil Code, the product and its components are guaranteed
against faults or defects for a period of 24 months from the date of dispatch from the factory.
The manufacturer guarantees that the product is reliable and undertakes to promptly repair or
replace any parts affected by manufacturing faults or defective materials during the warranty
period free of charge. The purchaser shall not be refunded for damage or other expenses. The
warranty does not cover fragile parts or parts subject to normal wear and tear, corrosive agents or
operations, overloads (both permanent and temporary), etc.. The manufacturer declines liability
for damage deriving from improper installation, use or insertion, as well as excessive stress or
misuse.
The manufacturer declines liability if the product has been modified or dismantled, if the label is
missing or if it shows clear signs of collision and the like. Repairs made under this warranty are "ex-
works". This means that all transport costs (inward and outward) are charged to the purchaser. For
inspections made by specialised personnel, labour costs shall be charged to the manufacturer
while journey costs (inward and outward), journey time, board and lodging shall be charged to the
purchaser. This warranty is only valid if this form, belonging to the installation and use
instructions manual, is duly filled in and the cause of the damage clearly described.
The products must be installed and used in compliance with the technical specifications and
instructions given by STATEUROP
installation and use of electrical devices in the country where the products are installed and used.
For this reason, the purchaser expressly relieves STATEUROP from all liability deriving from improper use
and failure to observe the safety regulations, technical specifications and operating instructions.
