6.2- MOUNTING A SINGLE ACTUATOR ON TOP-HUNG WINDOWS

(Figs. 7÷15 pages 106÷108)
ASSEMBLY OPERATIONS INCLUDE DRILLING HOLES IN THE WINDOW FRAME;
BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH FINAL DRILLING, PERFORM TESTS TO CHECK THE
CORRECT POSITION OF THE ACTUATOR WITH RESPECT TO THE WINDOW FRAME
AND CHECK THE ALIGNMENT OF THE ACTUATOR BRACKETS.
FIGURES 7 AND 8 INDICATE THE DISTANCES TO RESPECT FOR THE CORRECT
POSITIONING OF THE BRACKETS WHEN ASSEMBLING ACTUATORS IN THE
STANDARD (FIG. 7) OR TOP-HUNG (FIG . 8) POSITIONS RESPECTIVELY.
1)Fig. 10 - Mark the middle line "X" of the window frame with a pencil.
2)Figs. 11/12 - Use a suitable drill to make holes in the moving part of the window frame
and then fix the butterfly bracket "SF" using the "V1" screws.
3)Figs. 11/12 - Drill holes in the fixed part of the window frame and then fix the "SA"
actuator support using the "V1" screws, making sure that the "SA" bracket is aligned
with the "SF" bracket.
4)Fig. 13 - Mount the "MI1" and "MI2" inner clamps on the "SA" bracket (already fixed to
the window frame) using the "V3" screws.
5)Fig. 13- Make sure that the "C1" rack of the actuator is fully retracted inside the
actuator.
6)Fig. 13 - Insert the "Mi1" clamps (see also fig. 14) into the "G" guides on the sides of
the actuator.
7)Fig. 13/15- After making sure the window frame is in the closed position and the
actuator is at its travel stop, fix the head of the "C1" rack to the "SF" butterfly bracket
using the "V2" screw and the "D1" nut.
8)Fig. 15- Slide the actuator along its axis until it exercises enough pressure to properly
close the window frame.
Lastly, fix the "V3" screws.

16÷25 pages 108÷111)
ASSEMBLY OPERATIONS INCLUDE DRILLING HOLES IN THE WINDOW FRAME;
BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH FINAL DRILLING, PERFORM TESTS TO CHECK THE
CORRECT POSITION OF THE ACTUATOR WITH RESPECT TO THE WINDOW FRAME AND
CHECK THE ALIGNMENT OF THE ACTUATOR BRACKETS.
FIGURE 16 INDICATES THE DISTANCES TO RESPECT FOR THE CORRECT
POSITIONING OF THE BRACKETS WHEN ASSEMBLING PAIRS OF ACTUATORS.
