Description of acoustic signals
The acoustic signal provides useful information on key selection and operating processes.
1. A single tone is heard when a key is pressed or the furnace is in "HOLD" mode.
2. A double tone is heard when an invalid key is pressed or invalid data are selected.
3. A five-fold double tone is heard at the end of a combustion cycle.
4. A five-fold single tone is heard if the lift does not reach its final position. Reset by means of
the (Lift) key.
5. A continuous uninterrupted tone is heard if the vacuum level cannot be reduced on time.
Reset by switching off.

Putting the unit into operation
7.1
Transport
Transport the unit carefully in a horizontal position. Avoid jerking it! For sizes and weight, see
Chapitre 11 Technical data
7.2
Installation
CAUTION!:
Check the contents of the shipping box against the scope of delivery given in
the operating manual.

Remove all articles from the upper foam section. Carefully remove the upper foam section. Keep
the box and packaging for possible later use.
Carefully lift out the furnace, holding it below the muffles on the inside, and place it down upright.
Do not lift the furnace by the lift rod.
7.2.1
Vacuum pump connection
1. Before initial operation, the pump must be filled with the special oil provided. Before each
further use, the oil level must be checked and topped up if necessary. (See pump operating
instructions)
2. Connect the vacuum pump grommet to the rubber vacuum hose.
3. Connect the furnace grommet to the other end of the rubber hose. Make sure that the clamps
are secure.
4. Connect the vacuum pump power cord to the mains connection socket on the rear of the
furnace. Check the position of the pump: the vacuum hose must not be kinked.
5. Make sure the pump is switched on. For further information, refer to the pump operating
instructions.
7.2.2
Furnace connection to the mains power supply
Make sure that the master switch on the rear of the furnace is switched off. Connect the power
cord to the furnace mains power connection. Insert the power cord into a wall socket. Switch on
at the master switch. A single tone can be heard. Press the "ON/OFF" key at the front (operating
panel). The furnace is now in idling mode. Press the [LIFT] key - the platform is lowered
automatically. Place the ceramic table on the platform. The furnace is now ready for initial
operation.
