9 Installation of insulating plate mo-
dule 3
Outside of building

Push the insulating plate over the sleeve pipe and
mark the external diameter of the insulating plate at
the perimeter insulation (see Fig. 20).
Then remove the insulating plate.

Cut out the perimeter insulation in the marked area
using the Hauff insulating plate knife and remove (see
Fig. 21).
Push the insulating plate over the sleeve pipe into the

wall opening so it is flush with the wall (see Fig. 22).

Remove the nuts from the fixed/loose flange (modu-

le 4) and remove the loose flange (see Fig.: 23).
Outside of building

Position the fixed flange (module 4) as required and
mark dowel holes (see Fig. 24).
Precise centring can be achieved using the external
sealing element.
Remove the fixed flange (module 4) and drill dowel

holes (Ø 10 mm, 80 mm deep) (see Fig. 25).
Then re-position the fixed flange using the dowel
4
holes.
Mount the wall attachment elements SXR 10x80 pro-
vided and tighten the screws A/F13 using the torque
wrench (see Fig. 26).
Dowels and screws according to approval ETA-
07/0121.
Tightening torque for concrete: up to 20 Nm.
Tightening torque for masonry: up to 6 Nm.
(dowels and screws are included in the package)
Recess the sealing sheet in the area of the pipe sleeve

and threaded pin using the appropriate aids and fix
onto flange panel (see Fig. 27).
Push the loose flange over the threaded pins (with its

bevelled edge and depressions towards the waterproof
membrane (see Fig. 28)) and place the washers and
nuts on the threaded pin.
Tighten the nuts evenly with the torque wrench and
retighten several times until the specified torque for
concrete or masonry has been reached (see Fig. 29).

Prior to further installation of the external sealing
element, the ESH PolySafe GV1 is installed on the
inside of the building (see Fig. 4 to 9).
Then spread lubricant on the sleeve pipe and the in-
ternal sealing surface of the external sealing element
(module 1) (see Fig. 30 and 31).
When installing the external sealing element, push
the sealing element from the outside of the building
over the sleeve pipe of the ESH PolySafe GV1 into the
pipe of the fixed/loose flange until it is flush and ti-
ghten the internal hex screws (see Fig. 32).
Connection with duct to sleeve pipe (as in Fig. 15).

ment module 6
Outside of building
Spread lubricant on the sleeve pipe and the internal
sealing surface of the external sealing element (mo-
dule 6) (see Fig. 33 and 34).
Then push the external sealing element (module 6)
into the opening/wall sleeve from the outside of the
building over the sleeve pipe until it is flush with the
wall (see Fig. 35).

Installation of external sealing ele-
ment module 6.2
Outside of building
Spread lubricant on the sleeve pipe and the internal
sealing surface of the external sealing element (module
6.2) (see Fig. 36 and 37).
Then push the external sealing element (module 6.2)
into the opening/wall sleeve from the outside of the
building over the sleeve pipe as far as it will go (see
Fig. 38).
Tighten internal hex screws crosswise until a torque
of 6 Nm has been reached (see Fig. 39).
Connection with duct to sleeve pipe (as in Fig. 15).
Installation of external sealing ele-
ment module 8
Consumables/accessories required (available se-
parately):
2-component resin Tangit M3000, 300 ml (Art.
No.: 1920002003).
• Breaks in the core drill hole on the outside of the
building (see Fig. 40) do not have to be reworked
in connection with module 8. In the case of
larger breaks on the inside of the building, the
ESH support pipe (metal sleeve, included with
module 8) can be inserted in
