7 Installation

7.1 Suitable urinals

Use the ProDetect 2 only in combination with the following urinals:
Architectura 5586 / 5587 / 5574
•
Subway 7513
•
O.novo / Omnia 7507 / 7557 / 7527
•
Venticello 5504
•

7.2 Installing the hosing

Important
Before opening the connected water line, you must ensure that the urinal control system
has previously been commissioned for a minimum of 30 seconds (power connection). This
applies to the battery and mains versions.
Important
Urinals with vertical discharge
Always use a mains model for urinals with vertical discharge.
We recommend installing the optional Bluetooth adapter. This will ensure simple operation
of the system without dismantling the urinal.
Important
At first installation of urinal and ProDetect 2
Carry out all necessary steps in the separate assembly instructions for fitting the urinal

before installing the hosing.
Flush the water line before installation to remove any contamination.

Before installing the hosing, make sure that the seals on the solenoid valve are arranged
•
correctly (see sketch).

Retrospective installation of ProDetect 2
Before installing the hosing, remove the urinal attachments.
