 Do not cut meat with bones or frozen food with the food slicer.

Removing the Blade

Be very careful when handling the blade as it is
extremely sharp!
1. The blade can be disassembling, for example
when becoming dull or for thoroughly clean-
ing.
2. Unscrew the blade holder (10) in the middle
of the blade by turning it clockwise (step 1).
Then carefully remove the blade (step 2).
Always grasp the blade by the blade holder.
3. After thoroughly cleaning, re-install the blade by fixing the gear and
moving the blade holder counter clockwise.

Cleaning and Storing

 Always unplug the appliance from the power mains before cleaning.
 Keep this appliance and the accessory clean at all times as they come
into direct contact with food.
 Clean the food slicer after each use in order to avoid food residues
sticking on the appliance.
 For better cleaning of the notches, the counter
plate (9) can be dismounted. Turn the thick-
ness adjustment knob (4) counter clockwise
(step 1) and remove the counter plate (step 2).
Clean all notches with a cloth or a soft brush.
 Wipe the housing of the appliance with a
lightly moistened cloth. Use detergent as
needed. Do not put it in a dishwasher. Do not
immerse it in water or any other liquids.
 Clean the food retainer (5) in soapy water and dry it well before re-
assembling the appliance.
 Do not clean the appliance with aggressive chemicals or abrasives in
order not to damage the surface.
