Operation

Use the thickness adjusting knob (4) to adjust the slicing thickness
according to your needs (max. 13 mm).
1. Turn the thickness adjusting knob clockwise
(step 1). The counter plate will move for-
wards (step 2).
2. Pull the feed slide (7) all the way to the end
and place the food to be sliced in front of the
food retainer (5) on the feed slide (7).
3. Under the work surface (12) you will find the
collecting tray (13). Remove it and place the
collecting tray below the blade to collect the
slices.
4. Push the safety switch (8) inwards. Push the ON button (1) and keep it
pressed.
Only use the food slicer with feed slide (7) and food retainer (5) unless
it is not possible due to the size and shape of the food!
5. Gently push the food with the food retainer
(5) against the blade (step 1). Then push and
slide the food with the feed slide against the
blade to cut the food (step 2).
Keep your fingers and hands away from the
rotating blade!
6. Release the ON (1) to switch off the food
slicer.
Hints:
 Attention! After switching off the food slicer, the blade will still rotate for
a second. There is risk of injuries!
 After 6 minutes of operation let the appliance cool down for 15 minutes.
 To avoid food sticking on the blade, moisten the blade with little
cooking oil if necessary.
 If the blade slows down while slicing, move it a little bit back and start
pushing again with less pressure.
 Do not overload the food slicer.
