Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunc-
tions, damage or physical injury:
 Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the
appliance.
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not
allowed to use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety
by a qualified person or are briefed by the responsible person
how to use the unit.
 The food slicer must not be used by children.
 Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use. Keep it out
of reach of children or persons in need of supervision. The food
slicer is not a toy.
 Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the unit.
 Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids or
place it into the dishwasher. Do not use the appliance with wet
hands.
 Do not use the appliance outdoors and always place it in a dry
place.
 Do not place the appliance near or on hot surfaces.
 Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the power supply
before cleaning or when not in use.
 Only use the appliance with the feeding carriage and the food
retainer, unless it is not possible due to the size and shape of the
food.
 Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the
cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around
the appliance and do not bend it.
 Only use this slicer for cutting suitable food. Do not cut meat with
bones.
 Never touch the blade. The blade is extremely sharp. Always be
