5 Installation preconditions

The B-SAFE universal filter is not suitable for per-
manent pressure load.
It may only mounted behind an armature in the
pressureless range.

6 Installation

The B-SAFE universal filter is installed on closed
water taps in compliance with the direction of water
flow (observe the direction of the arrow on the filter)
(see Fig. 1).
If necessary the B-SAFE universal filter can be

mounted between two shower hoses (see Fig. 2).
A short shower hose is available.

7 Operator responsibilities

The operator must replace the filter to ensure that
the unit continues to function effectively.
Depending on operating conditions, the filter must
be regularly replaced when water pressure drops
or at the latest every 4 weeks.
