4 Function

Non-return valve
The non-return valve built into the B-SAFE univer-
sal filter prevents the water system from becoming
recontaminated as much as possible.
Removing particles
The preliminary filter built in the B-SAFE universal
filter removes sand, rust, lime particles, biofilm
fragments and other substances causing turbidity
from the water.
High degree of protection against legionella and
other bacteria.
The B-SAFE universal filter provides a high de-
gree of protection against becoming infected with
legionella that can occur by inhaling aerosols con-
taining legionella.
Micro organisms are filtered out of the water through
a dead-end hollow fibre micro-filtration membrane
that has pore sizes of 0.02 µm. The filtering process
is carried out in the dead-end procedure without
backwashing.
Compact design
Using a holloh fibre micro filtration membrane pro-
vides a large filtration surface (600cm
space requirements so that a high filter performance
is achieved.
