4.2 Setting-up
⇒ Remove and dispose of the transport securing device
(10, Fig� 2) on the bottom of the equipment�
⇒ Select a stable surface to set the equipment up on�
⇒ The mains plug must be easily accessible�
⇒ Select the set-up location such that there is no patient
contact�
Do not place the equipment on an aluminum surface.
This interrupts the switching off function of the equip-
ment cover.
4.3 Attaching operating instructions sticker
Remove the sticker with the operating instructions "Do not open
cover before the end of the mixing process" in the required lan-
guage from the sticker set and attach it to the inside of the equip-
ment cover�
4.4

Electrical connection

Before making the electrical connection, check that the voltage indicated on the rating plate
matches the local voltage supply.
Before making the electrical connection, check that the mains frequency on the rating plate
matches the mains frequency of the local voltage supply.
⇒ Unroll the power cord (4, Fig� 1) and insert the plug into the building's electrical socket�
The equipment is now ready for operation�
Use the enclosed power adapter, if necessary.

Operation

5.1 Mixing process
⇒ Open the equipment cover (3)�
⇒ Activate the capsule by pressing in the pin (Fig� 4)�
⇒ Insert the capsule into the capsule holder (2)�
⇒ Close the equipment cover�
⇒ Press start key (1)�
♦ The mixing process starts�
♦ The equipment stops after the end of the mixing time (see
Technical Data)�
⇒ Open the equipment cover�
⇒ Remove capsule and use according to manufacturer's speci-
fications.
Insert the capsule into the equipment immediately after
activating it and start the mixing process!
Do not operate the start key with sharp objects!
A mixing process can only be started when the equipment
cover is closed.
