Quick installation guide
1. Set the valve and the actuator to the '0' posi-
tion and check the operating direction of the
valve (default: right-handed, i.e. opens when
turned clockwise).
2. Install the adapter on the valve stem and
install the pin (if any). Fasten the actuator with
the supplied long screw and check manually
that the combination works correctly and
without effort.
At this point, set the device to AUTOMATIC.
3. Connect the supply water sensor to the sup-
ply water pipe and the motor unit. Connect
the radio transmitter to the motor unit and po-
sition the antenna part as high as possible.
4. Remove the protective plastic from the room
unit batteries and make sure that 'RU' is
shown on the screen.
5. At this point, power on the motor unit.
6. Press the button on the right side of the room
unit. 'PAIR' is shown on the screen.
7. After a moment, 'PAIR ok' is shown to indi-
cate that radio connection has been formed.
If this does not happen, see page 8.
8. To select the heating method (HI = radiator /
LO = floor heating) or to make and acknowl-
edge changes, press the button on the right
side. To select functions and navigate the
menus, use the rotary switch.
9. At 'Valve', select the operating direction of the
valve. The default setting is 'Right', i.e. the
valve opens when turned clockwise.
10. 'RF' indicates the signal strength, calculating
the mean value. You can utilise this value if

you suspect that data transmission indoors
is poor.
11. At 'DEfa' you can reset the device to factory
settings. After resetting, the device must
paired – continue from step 5.
12. To exit the installation menu press the ECO
button on the left side.
13. If you already pressed ECO earlier, don't
worry: there is a button on the backplate –
press this with the tip of a pen to return to the
INSTALLATION MENU.
14. TAKE THE ROOM UNIT INDOORS to a cen-
tral location where there is no draught. Set
the desired temperature, then grab yourself a
coffee and relax...
