Installation of the motor unit
on the valve and connections:

1. Check the valve operation direction. The
default setting is right-handed, i.e. the valve
opens when turned clockwise.
2. Remove the valve knob after you have turned
it to the '0' position (for Termomix type valves,
add the rotation restraint screw at this point).
3. Place the adapter on the valve stem, ensuring
it reaches the bottom. Place the motor unit
on the valve. Note that the motor must be in
the '0' position, i.e. the same position as the
valve. MAKE SURE THAT SWITCH D IS IN
THE MANUAL POSITION AND CHECK THE
VALVE OPERATION WITH THE HANDLE.
4. Fit the two-sided display plate in place so that
the handle's arrow points to the '0' position
when the valve is closed.
5. Tighten the engine with the screw. Turn the
handle to ensure that the valve turns 90
degrees easily. Leave the device in the '0' po-
sition and turn switch D to the AUTOMATIC
position.
When the room unit is equipped with batteries and the motor unit is powered on, the device automatically
switches to coupling mode. When you press button C, the RF room unit and motor unit recognise each
other and the START WIZARD function, i.e. automatic selection of settings, begins.
REMEMBER TO INSTALL BATTERIES IN THE ROOM UNIT FIRST
AND THEN POWER ON THE Motor unit!
(Automatic mode in activated for one minute after motor unit is powered)
6. Fasten the supply water sensor to the supply
water pipe with the supplied tie, and plug it
in to connector B in motor unit. It is recom-
mended to isolate the sensor to ensure
correct operation.
7. Connect the RF transmitter (page 2, Figure
2) wire to the transmitter and motor unit
connector C. Place the unit as high on the
wall as possible or, if wall mounting is not
possible, hang it from the ceiling to increase
the antenna range.
8. Remove the back plate / wall mounting plate
from the room unit by pressing it downward.
Remove the protective plastic from the bat-
teries. The room unit is tuned on and letters
'RU' appear on the display.
9. Connect the transformer to connector A and
plug the transformer into a socket.
10. Make sure that the LED on the RF transmitter
is blinking.
