We would like to point out expressly that the relatively long percolating time of
this product (CB 614) is due to its type of construction. As the power of your
car battery is limited (12 volts) this is unavoidable and does not mean that the
product is not working correctly.
•
Remove all the packaging and transport protections from the device. Wipe all
the parts with a moist cloth to remove all the dust that may have deposited on
and in the device during transport. Then mount the device again by procee-
ding in the opposite order.

Carry out 2 or 3 cycles with cold water only to clean the device before brew-
ing the fi rst cup of coffee.
The base of the coffee machine can also be mounted on a wall with the help of
screws (not supplied).
To do so, please measure the distance between the indentations on the rear. Be-
forehand you should ensure that you will not damage any pipe or electric wiring
hidden in the wall! Then drill holes at this distance.

Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the same as
that of the machine. Details are to be found on the label on the base.

Connect the power cable to a 12V/15A direct current (DC) socket such as the
cigarette lighter. The control lamp in the plug lights up.
1. Open the water tank lid.
2. Now fi ll with enough fresh cold water for the desired number of cups. You can
read the level on the water level display. Do not overfi ll the appliance.
3. Close the water tank lid.
4. Swing the fi lter out to the right.
5. Pull out the permanent fi lter and fi ll in some coffee powder. Then replace the
permanent fi lter and place the coffee pot on the stand. Lock in the fi lter until it
snaps into place. Please note that the lid must be in place on the pot.
6. Switch on the appliance (the LED in the switch lights up).
