The air supply hose must be pressurized to at least 50 bar on uncoiling. The first time
a hose is used it may twist three or four times when pressurized. Make sure that it
is coiled without tension in the direction of the hose. If the hose is coiled without a
hose reel, the coiling diameter must be greater than 500 mm. When the hose has
been coiled it must be secured with straps to prevent tangling. The hose reel contains
suitable straps.
When the hose is unreeled/uncoiled, all twists and kinks must be removed.
If the air supply hose has been subjected to a load of more than 1000 N, which cannot
normally be applied by hand, it must be replaced.

AFTER USE

Coil up the air supply hose as described in Section 5.

Users of the breathing apparatus
Close the cylinder valve on the breathing apparatus and take off the facemask as

described in the instructions for the breathing apparatus.
Disconnect the P+ regulator from the breathing apparatus.

Take off the breathing apparatus and vent as described in the instructions for the

breathing apparatus.
Users of the Spiroline belt
Take off the facemask as described in the instructions for the facemask.

Disconnect the P+ regulator from the Spiroline belt.
2B.
Open the waist belt buckle by pressing it in the middle.
2C.
Take off the belt.
2D.
Activate the safety pressure on the facemask to vent.

Users of the Distribution panel
The unit must be cleaned after every use, as described in Section 7. If cleaning is done
directly after use, this must be done before steps 3-6 below.
Check the non-return valve in the distribution panel and the air supply hose:

Connect an air source with a pressure of at least 100 bar to one of the adapter
hoses and connect the air supply hose to the distribution panel. Disconnect the
other adapter hose from the distribution panel (it must not be connected to an air
source).
Open the air source and check that no air can be heard leaking from the quick

connection of the non-connected adapter hose or from the P+ regulator.
Close the valves of the air source and vent by connecting the vent handle to the P+
3.
regulator. Open the vent valves on the adapter hoses.
