22590 Blue Balloon
The winner is the first player to make all their blue sticks vanish into the box. But
remember – only the blue balloon or the number 6 will let your stick fall into the
box. This game is equally suitable for one or many players.
The aim of the game is to get your own sticks into the box as quickly as possible.
Either the colour dice or the dice with pips (representing numbers) can be used.
First the 50 blue cylindrical wooden sticks are distributed equally among the play-
ers. All the players then throw the dice, and the first to throw "blue"(or a
6 on the dice with pips) can begin.
This player is allowed to throw again. If he now throws the colour "red" a stick is
inserted into the red balloon (if he throws a 4 on the dice with pips, he can put the
stick in the white balloon). Now it is the next player's turn to throw the dice. She
places her stick according to the colour (or number) thrown.
If a player throws a colour (or number) where a stick is already in place, he has to
take this stick as well, and put it in front of him. Then it is the next player's turn.
If a player throws "blue" (or a 6 on the dice with pips), she can post her stick
through the hole in the blue balloon, so that it falls into the box. Then the player
can throw again.
The winner is the first player with no sticks left.
Please note: Wood is a natural material. Various factors (temperature, air humidity) may cause
fluctuations in the width of the wooden sticks. If it becomes difficult to fit one of the wooden
sticks into the holes, please place it on a radiator for a short time to allow it to reduce back to its
former shape.
