• Operating with dirty and unlubricated air reduces tool life sub-
stantially. Before installing extension hoses, blow them clean
and minimize , if at all necessary coupling and keep them
clean.
• Rust will occur, if air supply is not lubricated and wet. A few
drops of air tool oil from time to time will prevent rust and
stops bearings from seizing.
• Conserve:
Put some drops of oil in the air inlet and briefly blow through.
Safety Instructions:
• Do not exceed max. operating speed of tool and clamping
element.• Observe accurate mounting of insert tools.
• Observe mounting instructions for Mounted Stones!
• Run tool for a couple of seconds under no load, replace vibra-
ting insert tools at once, protect mounted points from knocks
and grease.
• Secure work, use clamps or a vise to hold work.
• The grinder operator shall wear safety goggles or face shield at
all times when the grinder is in operation.
• If noise level exceeds 85 dB(A) at the work station, operator
must use ear protection (plugs and/or ear mufflers).

Operation conditions and instructions
The machine can be turned on and off by turning the lever. 1.
Turn locking lever in direction indicated by arrow , and 2. Depress
valve lever 2.

Grinding/Deburring/Cleaning
• Observe even material removal, avoid chattering.
• Do not treat any material containing asbestos.
Change of tools/abrasives
• Disconnect air supply before changing tools/abrasives
• Hold Spindle 4 with wrench 5, mount or dismount collet 6 using
wrench 7.
• Check concentricity, use only vibration free tools and always
observe M.OS. (Max. operating speed). Observe mounting
instructions for Mounted Stones!

Maintenance

• Store tool in a clean, dry place. Check the idling speed from
time to time.
• Even if the tool still gives satisfactory service, have it checked
by a trained mechanic after 300 to 400 operation hours, or at
least once a year. Disassembly motor, clean and replace if ne-
cessary the four vanes. Also check/replace grease in the LLC4,
planetary gear 13; don't clean it.
• Warranty claims can only be considered, if tool is returned
complete.
