17. Trouble Shooting

Problem
Possible Cause
Machine cannot be
switched on.
Machine does not work or
stops suddenly.
Machine stops during
planing.
Workpiece jams during

Regular servicing period
Check that the planing blade is in perfect
condition
Check the function of the safety equipment
Clean dust and chips off the machine
Check the drive belt to ensure it has the correct tension
and is in good condition or not worn
