Possible cause

The internal battery is
not charged .
The headphones are
not switched on .
The volume is set to
minimum .
The playback device is
not switched on .
The playback device
has been muted .
The audio cable
incorrectly connected
in AUX-IN mode .
The stereo balance
control on the
playback device is
incorrectly adjusted .
Remedy
Charge the battery (see
section Charging the
battery) .
Press the

Set the desired volume
