Replacing the power module

!
Only the installation and removal operations
described in this document may be performed on
the power module.
!
The circuit board in the power module must not
be detached from the heat sink, as otherwise the
warranty for material defects is voided.

Removing the power module

1. Disconnect BAT 645 from the mains voltage system.
2. Remove power supply cable from BAT 645.
3. Remove housing caps (see sec. 4.1).
4. Remove top part of housing (see sec. 4.2).
5. Remove connecting cables at the connection for the
battery charging cable from the power module (see
sec. 6).
6. Disconnect connecting cables at the power inlet
socket connector from the power module (see sec.
6).
7. Remove covers from the hex nuts (Fig. 11, item 1)
on the lower part of housing.
8. Use a hex key to hold the setscrews (Fig. 11, item 5)
and remove the hex nuts (Fig. 11, , item 2).
9. Remove the washers (Fig. 11, item 3).
10. Remove the power module.

Fastening the power module

1. Place spacer rings (Fig. 11, item 4) over the
setscrews (Fig. 11, item 5) on the power module.
2. Guide the setscrews on the power module through
the holes in the lower part of housing.
3. Placed washers over the setscrews.
4. Using the hex nuts, fasten the power module to the
lower part of housing.

5. Attach covers to the hex nuts.

10. Attach connecting cable for the fan to slot X12 on
