•
After a power outage or after the plug is removed from its socket, do not connect the
unit to a power source for at least 5 minutes.
•
The socket's electrical circuit must be protected to min. 16A. Connect the unit
directly to a wall socket; do not use any splitters or power strips.
•
Place the unit to ensure quick access to its plug in case it is necessary to disconnect
it from its power source.

5.3 Operation

•
Clean the unit after unpacking and again before connecting it to a power source.
Wash GN containers before use. (see 6.2 "Cleaning")
•
Connect the unit to a single, grounded socket.
•
Turn the unit on using the ON/OFF switch at the front of the unit. The green control
light in the switch will come on.
•
After the unit is turned on, the following symbols will appear on the display:
The current internal temperature of the unit will also be displayed.
•
During first use, before placing any food products on or in the refrigerated counter,
wait until the unit has reached the desired temperature.

Display and functions
Primary temperature settings are established at the factory and correspond to a working
temperature in the unit of approx. 0° C – 10° C.
During normal use, the display will show the temperature as measured by the sensor.
The LED will also show the current state of functions (table 1), and by using the 3 buttons
some functions can be activated/deactivated (table 2).
