Symptom
• "No service in current service list"
appears.
• No picture appears when you switch
between functions.
• Only sound can be heard and no
picture is shown.
• The screen shows discontinuous,
glitches, or mosaic pictures.
• Only picture is shown on the screen
and no sound can be heard.
• The screen goes blank and teletext
page does not appear.
• SSM automatic presetting does not
work.
• Static noise while listening to the
radio.
• Disc can be neither recognized nor
played back.
• Disc cannot be ejected.
• Recordable/Rewritable discs cannot
be played back.
• Tracks on the Recordable/Rewritable
discs cannot be skipped.
• Playback does not start.
• The playback picture is not clear and
legible.
• Sound and pictures are sometimes
interrupted or distorted.
• No playback picture is shown and
"Parking Brake" appears on the
screen, even when the parking brake
is engaged.

Remedy/Cause
No channels have been preset.
Wait for a few seconds for the unit to return to TV mode.
• This unit might be in radio mode. Select <DVB-T TV>.

• The selected service/channel might be an unsupported
service/channel.
This is not a malfunction. Some broadcasters are using MPEG-2
signals which are subject to interference.
• Adjust the sound to the optimum level.
• Check the <Audio Language> settings in <Settings>
menu. ( 16)
• Wait for a few seconds for transmission time.
• Check with your local broadcaster for availability of this
service.
Store stations manually. (
Connect the aerial firmly.
Eject the disc forcibly. (
Unlock the disc. ( 41)
• Insert a finalized disc.
• Finalize the discs with the component which you used for
recording.
• Insert the disc correctly again.
• The format of files is not supported by the unit.
Adjust items in <Picture Adjust> menu. (
• Stop playback while driving on rough roads.
• Change the disc.
Parking brake lead is not connected properly.
