other directory, you must first deactivate PLST
mode again. To do this:
u press and hold down the PLST button until
"PLST OFF" appears in the display ④.
u After 2 seconds, playback starts with the
first track in the first directory.
Note:
Use the TA button ⑨ as the PLST
button.
If there are no playlists on the USB
storage device, "NO PLST" will
appear in the display ④ when you
press the PLST button.

Pausing playback (PAUSE)

u Press the 1 button ⑧.
"PAUSE" appears in the display ④.

Cancelling pause

u During pause, press the 1 button ⑧.
Playback is resumed.

You can use the optional IR remote control to
operate the most important device functions.

Remote control receiver

The infrared receiver for the remote control
is located in the front panel of the DAF RADIO
LUXURY. The receiver must be activated before
the remote control can be used:
u Press the MENU button ⑤ to open the
menu.
u Press the MENU button ⑤ repeatedly
until "IR" and the current setting ("ON" or
"OFF") appear in the display ④.
u Turn the volume control ① anticlockwise
or clockwise to deactivate or activate the
receiver.
u Press the MENU button ⑤ (if necessary,
several times) to close the menu.
Setting up the IR remote control
for operation
There is a battery in the battery compartment
㉑ of the remote control when the device is
shipped. A foil blocks the contact between the
battery and the remote control. Please take out
the battery and remove the foil before using
the remote control. To find out how to remove
the battery, please read the section entitled
"Changing the battery" in this chapter.
