Problem

Possible cause
The device is defective.

fi lter is clogged.

Clean the portafi lter (12) and
the fi lter.

Pour the right quantity of
coffee powder into the

Coffee Powder").
The perfect amount of
espresso to suit your own
taste can be programmed in

and Operation" chapter |
"Programming Quantities").
Descale the device (see the
"Cleaning and Care" chapter |
"Descaling").
Wait until the programme has
run through. Allow the device
to cool down a little. Remove
the milk tank from the device
and fi ll it (see the "Handling
and Operation" chapter |
"Filling the Milk Tank").
Then run the programme
again.
