TROUBLESHOOTING

The following are examples of typical problems that you may encounter in using the cabinet and that you can overcome
without the help of an expert.
In all cases in which the thermomagnetic circuit-breaker has been tripped, it is essential to call in a specialist to estab-
lish where the problem lies.
Symptoms
• Compressor stops
(green light off).
• Temperature too high inside
the refrigerated compartment.
• Temperature too low inside
the refrigerated compartment.
• Noisy operation.
If the problem persists despite taking the steps recommended above, call in a specialist

identification plate (see Chapter 2).

Materials used for the construction of the cabinet:

If you should decide to dismantle and dispose of the cabinet, pay attention to the handling of certain materials used in its
making, bearing in mind the following recommendations.
The following must be retrieved by waste-disposal specialists:
• refrigerant gas;
• compressor oil;
• thermal insulation.
Possible causes
• Power supply interrupted.
• Cabinet positioned near
a heat source.
• Condenser dirty.
• Incorrect thermostat setting.
• Incorrect thermostat setting.
• Unit not perfectly levelled.
• Contact with objects causing
vibration.
• Contact between refrigeration
system tubes.
refrigerating cabinet seals
in the refrigerating circuit
in the refrigerating circuit
electric wiring and refrigerating circuit
• Check that the unit is correctly plugged in.
• Check that the switch is set to position I.
• Check that the thermal magnetic circuit
breaker installed (not supplied) has not
cut in.
• Check that the mains is powering the
socket used.
• Move the cabinet or the heat source.
• Clean the condenser.
• Set the thermostat within the scheduled
temperature range.
• Set the thermostat within the scheduled
temperature range.
• Level the unit or position it on a flat
surface.
• Identify and remove the objects causing
vibration.
• Check that there is no contact between
the compressor unit tubes.
