Turn on the refrigerating system by means of the main switch (position I - green light on).
8.2.
Defrosting
The cabinet does not have an automatic defrosting cycle, so it is up to the staff to defrost the cabinet by switching off the
unit at least once every three months.
9.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAINTENANCE
The proper operation and lasting life of the cabinet depend on a regular and adequate maintenance schedule
All maintenance and cleaning operations must be performed only after ensuring that the power supply has been dis-
connected by detaching the power supply cable from the mains electricity plug point.
10.
CLEANING
The cabinet should be cleaned regularly, according to the following procedure.
Before proceeding with any cleaning operations, make sure that the cabinet has been disconnected from the mains
power supply.
10.1. Cleaning the outside of the cabinet
The outside of the cabinet can be cleaned with a cloth soaked in a solution of water and bicarbonate of soda, or neutral
detergent, and then dried with a soft cloth.

Cleaning the inside of the cabinet
The cabinet must be cleaned regularly, using non-toxic detergents, and then dried with a soft cloth.

10.3. Cleaning the condenser
For efficient operation of the cabinet, you are recommended to clean the condenser regularly, at least once every three
months. To clean the condenser, proceed as follows:
1. disconnect the power supply cable from the mains plug point
2. with the aid of a step-ladder, gain access to the refrigerating unit at the top of the cabinet
3. clean the condenser with a vacuum cleaner or with a dry brush
4. reconnect the power supply cable to the mains plug point.
IMPORTANT:
• If the cabinet is used in a particularly dusty environment, clean the condenser more frequently.
